As part of the centennial celebrations of UC College Aluva, various departments of this prestigious institution had set up a vast exhibition showcasing the history of the College as well as latest developments associated with each department. There were also stalls put up by external agencies such us Department of Police, VSSC etc. The  UG and PG students of Department of Physics, Al-Ameen College were taken on a field visit to the UC college campus to explore the centennial exhibition. Students mainly visited the science  departments namely Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botony and Computer Science. Department of Physics had set up an antique exhibition which showcased some very old equipments, such as telegraph key,old projector etc. that are no longer in use today.

They had also set up various experiments and demonstrations that are commonly taught as part of School and College Physics curriculum.

In addition, they also explored the stalls put up by Malayala Manorama and department of Physical Education. 67 students from the Department of Physics went on this field visit. 5 teachers and 2 lab assistants accompanied the students on this trip. It was indeed an enriching experience for the students.
