The Department of English, in association with English Efficiency Enhancing Course, Al Ameen College, Edathala, organised a lecture on Research Methodology. The programme was conducted on March 4, 2024, in 3rd year BA class. The goal of the programme was to enhance the interest of students in the field of research and to equip them with the methodologies for the preparation of the project. The resource person was Dr.Vidhya Vijayan, language instructor of English Efficiency Enhancing Course, Al Ameen College, Edathala.
The lecture aimed at enhancing the research quality of students by equipping them with robust methodologies. It also provided the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct, design and analyze research effectively. The class educated the students on ethical considerations in research such as avoiding plagiarism and protecting participants confidentiality.A total of 29 students attended the lecture. At the end of the presentation the participants raised queries and questions related to the topic. Ms.Christy Maria Xavier, Co-ordinator of the programme proposed a vote of thanks.
