AL-AMEENIAN INNOVATION AND BUSINESS INCUBATION CENTRE (AIBIC) is operating in the campus to enrich students on all angles of business; to create entrepreneurial ecosystem in the college and to expose students in the practical aspects of business. AIBIC celebrated Entrepreneurship Day with variety of programmes like product innovation competition, idea contest. The college collaborated with CEED, EDII, DST and DIC to boost the activities of ED cell. The club has organised industrial visits, which enable the students to interact with the leading business enterprises and know more about the current industrial environment. The students are also encouraged to participate in Seminars organised by other ED Agencies. AIBIC uses the expertise of all departments of the college to inbuilt strong culture of entrepreneurism. B.Voc programmes in Sound engineering help the club members to learn music which in turn bud them to become young entrepreneurs in the field of instrumental music.
AIBIC acts as centre for nurturing and overseeing innovation and to promote new technology based innovations and knowledge based start-ups. AIBIC also designs activities for the knowledge dissemination through different outreach programs for all the member students. AIBIC also associate with research lab functioning in the college to provide opportunities for students and teachers to engage in different research activities related to their interested area.
AIBIC has assembling unit of LED Bulb, LED Tube, Solar Lamp and Solar fan. The students under the guidance of teachers in the Department of Physics assemble them and sell in the campus itself. AIBIC associating with other clubs replaced all the fluorescent tubes in the college with LED tubes.
AIBIC Collects textile materials from different sources and manufactures cloth bags with the help of Kudumbasree units and market it to create a plastic free society which make the students environment consciousness. Various clubs and cells such as Institutes Innovation Council (IIC), IEDC, Social Entrepreneurship, Swatcchta and Rural Engagement Cell and Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell are working effectively together with AIBIC.
AIBIC also associated with widow parents of our college students and initiated medical gown making which benefited these parents, the gown was given to sree sudheendra medical misson hospital Ernakulum and we also had an MOU with them.
