Institutions’ Innovation Council and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), AlAmeen College, Edathala, Aluva in association with Government High school, Nochima conducted a training to give awareness about startup activities. The first session held on 25/10/2022 at Nochima school from 10 am to 1:00 pm. In this session, two faculties along with SALT student trainers from Al-Ameen college gave a brief introduction about the necessity of startup activities arises from school level onwards. The students were really motivated from this session. On that meeting we decided to conduct a second session on 21/02/2023 at Al Ameen college from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Around 65 students from IXth class actively participated in the second session. Student trainers helped the students to form 12 teams with 6 students in each group. After that student trainers explained them to how to identify problems and generate ideas from our real life through examples. They also motivated the students with the stories of successful entrepreneurs.
Provided half an hour for idea generation and they presented their ideas before the student trainers and faculties of both the institutions. A lot of innovative ideas were generated from young minds and from this 12 ideas were finalised.
We conducted another session on 7/12/2022 to develop a business plan. During this session students identified the requirements of their ideas and presented their plan along with a detailed write up.
