The Department of Economics has conducted Orientation Programme for first year students Listen to Your Hearts on 25th October 2022 in the Mini Seminar Hall. Prof.Mahin K Aliyar, Assistant Professor in Social Science Education, Centre for Professional Studies, Kottayam was the speaker. The programme began with a welcome address by  Dr.Shaniba MH, Head of Department . The speaker encouraged all of the students to pursue their aspirations and use the vast facilities provided by the institution.He delivered a talk on ‘Goal Setting’ and stressed on why the goals are important, how to set proper goals and the way to achieve them. It was followed by an interactive session, answering the queries from the students. Everyone praised the workshop and expressed their appreciation for it.
