“The Pathway to Triumph” was an orientation session conducted by the Department of Business Administration on 21st July 2023, aimed at helping students understand the nature of the undergraduate program and the opportunities it offers.
The key objective of the orientation programme was to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new students, helping them feel connected to the programme they have chosen and to provide an overview of the BBA program, curriculum, and career prospects.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Ruksana Ashraf , a Research Scholar from School of Management studies, CUSAT. An overview regarding how the BBA programme differs from other graduation programmes and what are the immense opportunities awaiting the management students was portrayed through the session in a very informative and effective way by the speaker.
She also provided them with the necessary information, and guidance to navigate their academic journey and prepare for future careers in the field of management. Twenty three students attended the programme, and gaining a clear understanding of the course structure, career paths, job market trends etc..laying a foundation for their management education and future careers.
Overall, the programme turned out to be successful and students genuinely benefited out of it. Overall session was an interactive one as students raised their queries and doubts. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Reyza Nezrin (Faculty in Charge) under the guidance of Ms. Deepthi Serene Jose, (Head of the Department – Business Administration).
