A career counselling session was organized by Department of Economics for first year students on 27/10/2022 in Seminar Hall. Dr.Justine George, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, St Pauls College, Kalamasery was the Resource person. Dr.Shaniba MH, Head of Department delivered the welcome address and gave an insight to the participants on the postgraduation courses available for economic students and stressed about various entrance examinations and how to prepare for them as well. In present environment of multiple options, knowing about the available choices and their decision-making process is very important. Dr. Justine George spoke about the value of choosing the right course after graduation and how choosing the right career can have a significant impact on a student’s future growth and development. The interactions at the question and answer session made sure that there was no low point, which also gave everyone a clear perspective for long run. Hence the programme helps the students in their career advancement . The session was widely appreciated and praised by everyone.
