We the department of tourism conducted a trip to Aralam wildlife sanctuary, Kannur from 19thjuly to 21stjuly 2017 and the group included 28 students accompanied by two faculty members..Aralam is the northern most wildlife sanctuary of Kerala. It covers 55 square kilometres of diverse forests-evergreen, semi evergreen and moist deciduous. We had been allotted a paid nature camp and went on a jungle safari the very first day. There was a power point presentation at the nature study hall. We were provided with good food and accommodation at a very reasonable rate. Next day we went for trekking for about two hours and a boating. Indeed our trip was a memorable one and we enjoyed a lot.
