Entrepreneurship education helps teach students to identify problems and solutions to new experiences and unforeseen outcomes, a skill that all businesses hold in high regard. With more education and encouragement, youth should be able to realise their entrepreneurial aspirations. This outcome will increase economic growth in communities and open new job and career opportunities, regardless of economic circumstances. In this perspective, the faculty and students of the PG Department of Commerce have organised a Lecture on Tapping your Entrepreneurial skills as part of the Prof. MB Sasidharan Endowment Lecture Series on March 28, 2023. This was the second event organised by the department to honour and remember the former HOD and Principal of Al-Ameen College for his interest in entrepreneurship skills among students.
The resource person for the session was CS N Balasubramanian, Practising Company Secretary. The programme was presided over by Dr. Cini Kurian, Principal. Shahanoor Beegum, HoD, welcomed the gathering. Students of our institution and students and teachers from JaiBharat and Siena College, Edakochi, attended the programme. A vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Leena Varghese. Around 75 students participated in the Lecture series.
