Dr. Annie Vallamattom Memorial Intercollegiate State Level Project Presentation Competition is an annual event organised by St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. It is an excellent platform for MSc Physics students from all over Kerala to showcase their research aptitude and findings to a wider scientific community. One of our students, Ms. Krishnapriya T. S. of the 2020–22 batch, presented her MSc project for the competition held at Science Block, St. Teresa’s College.
The first and second-year PG students of the department attended the presentations. It provided good exposure to these students, who in turn will be carrying out their projects and presentations for the successful completion of the Master’s programme. They got to know the variety of fields in which research is being carried out. They also understood how the project needed to be presented and that they needed to hone their presentation skills. 19 PG students attended the programme, and they all conveyed that it was a fruitful event.
