The one-day workshop on “Leading Change: Strategies for Fostering Gender Equity in the Workplace” was conducted on 5 December 2023 at Seminar hall. The event aimed to provide participants with insights into the importance of gender equity, strategies for fostering an inclusive workplace, and leadership approaches that can drive positive change.
The Resource Person for the session was Dr Nimitha Aboobacker, Assistant Professor, SMS, Cochin university of Science and Technology. Students were engaged with a chart making activity related to the topic gender equality.
The workshop was successful in achieving its objectives. The event provided a platform for meaningful discussions, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas to drive positive change towards gender equity in workplaces.
