Department of Computer Science conducted a one day programme at Blind school, Keezhmadu DEFEAT DARKNESS THROUGH KINDNESS as part of our social service activity on 19/08/2022. The interaction helped the students to know more about their life style, ‘Braille’ system for reading and also about the rods called “specs” which are used to denote numbers and signs.
This event is a follow-up to the one from the previous year. Fresh chart papers and used record books for the exams were provided to them this year as well. We arrived there at 2:00 and departed around 4:00.Blind school students were very happy to interact with the students and we are also happy to visit there again.The students were assisted by Mrs. Namitha Salim (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science) and Mrs. Shameera V.K (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science).
