Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. The foremost aim of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is to spread the feeling of patriotism throughout the nation. In connection with the 75th Independence Day Celebration, the “Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” department of chemistry conducted a poster-making competition on August 16, 2022, at 11.30 a.m. in the Library Hall. The topic was ‘Freedom at 75″. The objective of the programme was to reflect motivation from the freedom fighters, self-dependence, new resolutions, and new visions, and exhibit the fulfilment of the freedom movement to the entire world. A total of 20 candidates participated in the programme. Rinsa Kareem of the IInd MSc Computer Science got the first prize, and Al Fina Saleem from the III BSc Chemistry got the second prize.
