On March 14, as part of the Pi-day celebration, the Post-graduate Department of Mathematics of Al-Ameen College organized a session on “Essence of Data Science.” Speakers of the program are Rahul Mohanakumar, Founder and Managing Director at Luminar, Technolab, and Sabir K, Software Engineer at Luminar Technolab.

The session was intended to give information about data science and its career opportunities. Rahul Sir gave an introductory talk about data science and their institution.

The session was followed by a technical session handled by Mr. Sabir. It was a useful session for all the students. Around 50 students from the Mathematics and Computer Science departments attended this programme.
