The Department of English, Al Ameen College, Edathala, organized the first session of the Alumni Interaction Series for the students of the English Department. The programme, “Meet the Techies,” was conducted on July 12, 2023, in the auditorium at 10 p.m. The resource persons for the programme were Ms. Bashiriya Mol and Mr. Midlaj M, Department alumni who work as media analysts at Wipro. Mr. Viju P.V., Assistant Professor, Department of English, delivered the welcome speech. Later, the resource persons talked about their experiences as former students of the department. They were also briefed about the potential career opportunities the course offers. The induction programme concluded with the vote of thanks of Miss. Aiswarya Pushpakaran, Head of the Department of English.
