seminar on “Pathway To Your Career”

A career is an individual’s metaphorical ‘journey’ through learning, work and other aspects of life. Career guidance involves providing individuals with the guidance needed to acquire the knowledge, information, skills, and experience required to identify various career options and ultimately make a well-informed career decision. This career decision then results in their social, financial and emotional well-being throughout. Hence, a BBA student need to understand the right path that will lead them to their desired careers.

In order to achieve this, The Department of Business Administration has organized a seminar on “Pathway to Your Career”, a career guidance programme for BBA students on 29-09-2023 at Seminar Hall in Al Ameen college.

The resource person of the seminar was Mr.Subash Chandran,ACCA from IIC Lakshya.In this interactive session, the speaker guided the students on ambition and growth building, goal setting, job market and wise career decision making.  The students completed a form detailing their ambitions and career prospects as requested by the speaker.After the session, students got a clear idea about the right way to their careers.

The   programme   was   organized   by   Ms. Neha   Balan (Faculty Co-ordinator) under the guidance of Ms.Deepthi Serene Jose(HOD).  The welcome speech was presented by Abeesha K A-II BBA and the vote of thanks was presented by K M Hameeda Thoyyiba-III BBA.
