The Biotechnology Department organized an insightful interactive session featuring alumni for the benefit of the students.
The programme was delivered as a series, with the first session held on June 27, 2023, and the second session on July 5, 2023. Mr. Hashim Hassan, a departmental pass-out student for the academic year 2017–2020, led the first session. He is working as an intern at Cini India Bangalore. The session began at 10.30 am . His expertise in bioinformatics tools and databases was the focal point of his presentation. He delved into the world of bioinformatics technologies, emphasizing their critical role in the advancement of biotechnology. Mr. Hashim Hassan’s session left a positive impact on the students, evident in the favorable comments and feedback received.
The second session, scheduled for July 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the seminar hall, featured Ms. Amrutha Sujith, a graduate of the department from 2010-2017.She currently holds the position of coordinator for decision support at Straive in Chennai . She provided the pupils information on the reference tools and how to design an article for publication. Ms. Sanooja M. S., Assistant Professor in the department of biotechnology, coordinated the entire programme.The students were highly appreciative of both sessions, expressing their gratitude for the knowledge and experiences shared by these accomplished alumni .
