Upon receiving the letter of permission from HMT MACHINE TOOLS Ltd , Kalamassery , a group of 111 students with two faculty members (Ms. Reyza Nazrin and Ms.Neha Balan) went on an industrial visit to the factory on 28-10-2023. The group arrived at the factory at 10 o’clock. The visit commenced with a welcome address by a representative of HMT Machine Tools Ltd. The students were then taken on a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facility, where they witnessed various stages of production, from raw material processing to the assembly of finished products. The students had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions with the company’s engineers and technicians. These discussions covered topics such as precision machining, CNC technology, and the company’s commitment to quality assurance.
