Department of Computer Science in association with IEDC conducted its first technical fest EVOFEST2K23 on 22/03/2023. Despite being the first endeavour ,the event achieved resounding success. The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Cini Kurian. Subsequently, Dr. Leena Varghese, IQAC Coordinator, delivered a thoughtful address, followed by felicitation from Dr. Nisha Joseph, the IEDC Nodal Officer. The inaugural proceedings concluded at 10:30 am, marked by a rendition of the national anthem by the students.
The main attraction of the tech fest was the pre-workshop program on ‘Ethical Hacking’, coordinated by Ms. Anjalee Muraleedharan, faculty CS department, conducted on 20 March 2023. There were 30 partcicipants from various colleges and the workshop was handled by Mr. Dhanoop and Mr. Ullas from Techbyheart, a leading IT firm. Certificate was issued to all the participants.
On 22 March 2023 five different interdepartmental competitions were held. The events included Quiz competition, Arcade tournament, Treasure Hunt, Hackathon and Fashion Show. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners.
An arena of attractive stalls was arranged by our students and tech fest was really an enjoyable one with delicious food items and fresh juices. With the valedictory function on same day evening with fashion show, the program came to an end.The program was a great success .The management, principal , IEDC and executive committee members rendered their full support and encouragement for the success of the programme.
