Based on the waste audit and analysis done by the Bhoomithrasena club members, it has been found that paper waste generation can be reduced by adapting certain measurements in the college campus. To address the problem, a committee of Bhoomithrasena club members was formed, led by club coordinator Ms Alphy Nisa Steaphen. As a remedy, a circular was created with the approval of the college principal and management, with the assistance of student policy coordinators Ms.Anagha and Athul Raj, to limit the usage of paper, and it is related to our College’s Green Policy initiative. The circular went into effect on March 8, 2022. The circular was created as a rule in the college to ensure that paper is not wasted by using various alternative solutions.
