Financial literacy can be used to achieve social justice by empowering women, giving rise to financially independent women. Women’s empowerment is being pursued in a variety of ways around the world, with microfinance being one of them. The two-hour virtual awareness program which started at 2 pm was an attempt to clear the misconceptions in the minds of investors, channel their investments, make them aware of various asset classes, and equip them with enough financial skills so that they are financially safe.
