Gender equity is not only a fundamental human right , but a necessary foundation for peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Women should be able to stand on their own feet without depending on others. In order to pursue the footsteps towards gender equity a workshop was organized by the Department of Business Administration for female students on 19-12-2023 in our college. The workshop emphasized the practical aspects of empowering women. It aimed to motivate and enhance their skills, proving highly relevant.

The focus  of the workshop was on developing skills in creating, installing, and selling electric circuits. Participants included first, second, and final year female students who eagerly took part in the event. During the workshop, students assembled ten extension boards, and first-year students then marketed and sold them, thereby honing their marketing skills.

The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Nandu Reghunath, Assistant professor B.Voc department of our college .The session was highly interactive and students were delighted after finishing the extension board.

The programme was organized by Ms. Parvathy S (Faculty Co ordinator ) under the guidance of Ms. Deepthi Serene Jose (HOD)
