Department of Sound Engineering attended a two day Workshop on Film Making conducted by  Dr. N S Jayamohan, (Transmission Executive, AIR Kochi) for students of 2022 admission on 2^nd and 3^rd February 2024 at Pepper Mint Studio, Kakkanad, Kochi.

A group of nine Students from B.Voc Sound Engineering accompanied by faculty reached the location at 9.45am. On first day Sharan (Actor and Trainer), Nandhu(Camera man) also joined with the students for the workshop. Dr. N S Jayamohan initiated the session with a  welcome speech introducing Mr.Sharan and Mr.Nandhu to the students. Dr. N S Jayamohan took over the session by introducing his profile and demonstrated various projects, which he had involved, shared his experiences in the Film filed and a brief idea on film appreciation. Mr. Sharan and Mr. Nandhu explained about acting and camera techniques respectively. The theoretical aspects explained by the resource persons proved beneficial to the students. On the second day, practical sessions took over by the resource persons were   valuable to the students. Students were enthusiastic to know about the equipments used and techniques in Film production. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Remya K Prabha.
