Fathima Farvin, a student of III BA English at Al Ameen College Edathala, took the podium at Choornikara Panchayath Community Hall on 03 February 2024 as part of the community extension programs organized by the Department of English. The focus of her talk was to raise awareness about the prevalent issue of child abuse and ways to address it. Fathima Farvin’s talk on child abuse in Choornikara Panchayath served as a catalyst for raising awareness and fostering dialogue on a critical societal issue. Her informative presentation equipped the audience with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify, prevent, and respond to instances of child abuse, thereby contributing to the creation of a safer and more supportive environment for children in the community.
