Department of Sound Engineering organized a Workshop on Ham Radio conducted by Shastry S N (Director IARK, Ham Radio Enthusiast) for students of 2021 and 2020 admission on 09 June 2022 at Ravipuram, Kochi.

     A group of 23 Students from B.Voc Sound Engineering including faculties reached the location at 10.30am. Arun Rama Varma, our Course Co-ordinator also joined with us for the workshop. Mr. Christopher V M, delivered the welcome speech and also introduced Mr.Shastry to the students. Shastry took over the session by introducing his profile and demonstrated various projects which he had involved and shared his experiences in the Disaster Management cell. He explained the importance of ham radio to the students and demonstrated how to use it to communicate with others. Students were really enthusiastic to know about the equipments used for Ham Radio Communication. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Remya K Prabha.
