January 31 , 2018 witnessed a rare phenomenon across the world called “ Super moon”. The technical name of Super moon is Perigeesyzygy. In view of this phenomenon, the Department of Physics conducted a class on Super moon. A Power point was presented by Dr Sreeja S at the Seminar Hall. The PG and UG students of the department participated in the program. Many physical and technical aspects were discussed during the 2 hour session and all the queries were cleared.
