We usually celebrate Earth Day on April 22 to raise awareness about environmental protection among the population. It is simply a resolve to protect the environment and biodiversity. This year IIC of our college organized a quiz competition to reach the student community on awareness and need to protect the environment around us.

The main aim is to raise awareness about the growing population, loss of biodiversity, and depleting quality of the environment.  World Earth Day 2022 theme is ‘Invest in Our Planet’. The theme focuses on the effects of climate change on the planet that we all share and what efforts are being made in the real world to mitigate it.

In keeping with the theme, Earth Day 2022 we organised a quiz in our college which seems to be an important step towards attaining sustainable development in future. This event was coordinated by Ashina Z ,IIC Convenor  and Visakh S Nair as student coordinator. A team consisting of two members from 10 departments participated in the quiz .The team from BBA, followed by Economics and BSc Computer Science bagged first, second and third prize in the competition.
