Literature opens the doors of imagination and understanding for the students. In order to bring the students closer to literature, literary day celebrations were conducted on July 17th 2017. It was inaugurated by renowned Dalit writer AK Vasu .This was followed by the key note address by the chief guest A K Vasu.He delivered a valuable speech about Dalit writings in India.The prime motive in organizing this event was to create an understanding and awareness of the importance of reading .A literary quiz ”Literary Quest” was conducted in the afternoon session
in which students from various departments actively participated .Overall,the literary day provided the students an opportunity to understand the importance of reading and literature .
