The Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with Lotus Knowlwealth Pvt. Ltd., has organised an IEP- Investor Education Programme as part of BSE initiative. The resource person of the programme was Mr. Venugopal Rayirath, Senior Associate of LKW. The programme was organised on 18th September, 2023 at 1.30 pm at Seminar Hall. The students of second year UG and first year PG classes participated in this programme. The department arranged the program aiming at bridging the gap in the curriculum for second-year students who are currently studying capital markets, a subject that primarily involves theoretical concepts. This program is designed to enhance their understanding of Capital Market Awareness, introduce them to Mutual Funds, and provide insights into Financial Planning, thus enriching their educational experience.
The formal session was welcomed by Ms. Shamila NA, HoD and Dr. Cini Kurian presided the session, followed by a felicitation by Dr. Leena Varghese, IQAC Coordinator .The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Summayya Asharaf, final year BCom student. The session was very interesting and informative.
