Women  Cell  of  Al-Ameen  College  Edathala  conducted   an  interaction on 15-03-2018 with  Ms  Sheeba  Ameer, Social  Activist  and  founder  of  Solace ,an  organisation for  children  suffering  long  term illness. Sheeba  has  encountered several  patients and  their  families who  struggled    hard  to arrange  financial  means   for  treatment. It  came as  a  realization  for  her  that  not  everybody  is  as  privileged   as  her    to  afford    the  costly  medication. Thus  he  set  up solace  in 2007. The  sharing  of  life  experience  was  a real  motivation  to  the  students . Five of  the  students  extended  their  service  to  Solace  Youth  for  Home  care  of  the  patients  diagnosed  with  long  term  life  threatening  diseases.  The  life  of  sheeba  is  a true inspiration  to  many  women  which  aspire to  do  something  for the society. Women Cell contributed an  amount  of Rs 10000/-  to  SOLACE.
