The Department of Physics, Al-Ameen College, organized a workshop on LED Tube assembling for the kudumbashree members of the EdathalaGramaPanchayath on 21thNovember 2019. Five members of Navachaithanyakudumbashree unit, ward XII participated in the workshop. The students provided the training to the attendees under the guidance of the faculty members. It was conducted as an on the job training for the kudumbashree members and they were overwhelmed to see the assembled bulbs glow. The event was organized as an extension activity of the department to provide a common platform for the students of the department to interact with the society and for the kudumbashree members with the students and faculty of the college.
