The department of English, Al – Ameen college , organized a Intercollegiate webinar on career orientation ,Build your career, “Fly overseas”, on 22nd July 2021 via google meet. The gathering was welcomed by welcomed by Sahala Farsana,3rd BA English student and felicitated by Cini Kurian, Principal, Al- Ameen College . Aiswarya Pushpakatan, HoD English Department introduced the speaker. The program aimed at providing significant details and guidance to those who aspire to go abroad , either for the purpose of higher education or to build a career. The resource person for the function was Mr. Arun Perezhi, Microsoft certified educator, specialising in IELTS training and overseas consultation. He explained about the various requirements that should be considered while traveling to foreign countries and the measures to be followed in the pursuit. A total of 66 participants attended the program and it was highly an interactive session. The speaker responded to the quaries raised by the participants and they shared a positive feedback about the session and displayed their satisfaction in gaining vital and relevant information about the topic.
