Al Ameen College Film and Drama Club and Department of Sound Engineering in association with Elements of Cinema, Kakkanad conducted a Seminar on the topic ‘Film Making’ by Actor and director Mr. Devendranath Sankaranarayanan. The seminar was conducted on 23thMarch2023. Devendranath Sankaranarayanan is the course director of SKIFT, Pune Film Institute.

Nandu R, faculty of B.Voc SE Department introduced the chief guest to the students. Devendranath Sankaranarayanan took over the session by introducing his current work profile, and demonstrated various projects which he is currently working on. The session began with the basics of film making. Later on, he explained about different scenarios and engineering techniques used in current film industry. It was an interesting and inspiring session for the students, and also a golden opportunity to interact with an industrious expert in film field. The session concluded with the vote of thanks by B.Voc Department student Mohammad Sahal.
