The Department of Additional Language organized a seminar on the topic “E-Reading, E-Writing, E-Ra,” which explored the evolving landscape of digital communication. The discussion was led by Sreejith Divakaran, a journalist, scriptwriter, and columnist, who provided valuable insights into the current challenges facing online news and media. He noted that with the rise of numerous online news channels, the reliability of information has come under scrutiny, raising important questions about media trustworthiness.

The seminar was presided over by Dr. Cini Kurian, the Principal, who emphasized the importance of understanding digital media in today’s world. Dr. Leena Varghese and Dr. Shaniba M.H. also delivered felicitation speeches, highlighting the significance of adapting to new forms of reading and writing in the digital age.

Abdulsalam A.P. welcomed the attendees, setting a positive tone for the discussion, while Mubeena Mol concluded the event with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers and participants.

More than 100 students from various departments participated in the seminar, actively engaging in the conversation and sharing their perspectives.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness among students about the ideology and impact of online media, encouraging critical thinking regarding the information they consume.
