The part of the college land containing weeds and building wastes were cleaned by the nature club members with the complete support of college management. This land was then effectively utilized for the organic farming of spinach. The slurry from the biogas plant was taken as the fertilizer for the same. Two varieties of spinach were planted. Around a hundred seedlings of red spinach and fifty seedlings of green spinach were planted in the area by the nature club members and were taken care of by them.

The whole process of organic farming(planting, cultivation, watering, etc)was properly monitored and done under Ms Alphy Nisa Steaphen (nature club coordinator), Ms Jiss Therese(Joint Coordinator) and Mr Safeer Ummer(the technical supporter of the club ).
