On  August 27 2020, the Department of English of Al Ameen College Edathala conducted “Pokkonam 2k20” to celebrate the festival through online platform, Google meet.

The programme started off with a silent prayer followed by welcome speech by Fathima Rasbin, student of second BA English. The inaugural address and the Onam message was delivered by Dr. Sajin P. J., Head of the Department. Prof. Viju P. V., the Coordinator of English department spoke a few words about the essence of Onam and its importance.

Many funny and entertaining programmes followed. Students and teachers equally took part in the celebration.  The programme ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Rejula of third BA English.
