The final year students of English Department undertook an industrial visit to the Manorama News Channel and Mazhavil Manorama, Aroor under the guidance of Department Head Bisha E Y and Mr. Viju P V and Ms.Seethal George. The students learnt about the production process of program and news broadcasting practices. They understood the technical aspects of broadcasting and variety of designs and innovations used for production. Being the students of mass communication, media production planning and scheduling activities were found interesting by the students. Head of the editing department discussed about the news production management and the rules & regulations relating to news casting and the students explored the possibility of begin a media professional.
