The out break of Covid 19 pandemic has changed the entire pulse of the world. In this scenario the most negative word of 2021 is “Positive”. In order to fight against this pandemic we need to be well equipped and for that it is essential to have a clear understanding about the mechanism of Covid 19. With an objective to provide awareness about the pandemic and its post recovery complications, the department of Biotechnology, Al-Ameen College, Edathala conducted an international webinar titled”SARS-COV-2-RNAemia predicts clinical deterioration and extra pulmonary complications from COVID 19.”The speaker of the session was Dr.Nikhil Ram Mohan, Post Doctoral fellow, Stanford university.

The webinar started by 10:30 am. Dr.Cini Kurian, College Principal inaugurated the webinar and Dr.Junaid Rahman, Manager, Al-Ameen trust delivered the presidential address. Around 110 participants were registered for the webinar and the duration was around 1 hour. The speaker was very interactive and spent some time for open discussion. Participants raised their queries and anxieties about the pandemic and all of them were well answered by the speaker. The session ended at around 12:00 pm with the vote of thanks by the programme coordinator Ms.Alphy Nisa Stephen.
