Department of mathematics Al-Ameen college, Edathala organized an induction programme for 3rd year B.Sc Mathematics and 1 st  year M.Sc Mathematics students on the topic “Why do real analysis?” on 5th  december 2021 via google meet platform which has got good response from different colleges/universities. Programme was carried by resource person,  Dr. Tiju Cheriyan John, fulbright- Nehru postdoctoral fellow, University of south carolina.

Programme started with a prayer. Welcome speech was given by Dr. Vinitha T, HOD, Department of Mathematics followed by the presidential address by Dr.Cini Kurian ,Principal, Al-Ameen college. Talk began from the basic level of real analysis and was informative, interesting and helpful in providing a vast knowledge on real analysis. It was a one and half hour session. Programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Pavana Devassykutty, Assistant Professor ,Department of Mathematics. E-certificates were awarded to the participants.
