The We Care initiative, launched by the Kerala Social Security Mission to identify the needs of the vulnerable groups and provide them with protection and security. The scheme aims to provide relief to those with high medical expenses and those with complex illness. NSS Unit-2 of Al Ameen college, Edathala collected fund for Kerala government life care mission – ‘WE CARE’ on September 16th Friday. The NSS volunteers were divided to different groups and started collecting fund from college in the morning. In the afternoon session, volunteers collected fund from participatory village. We were able to collect a good amount of fund for ‘WE CARE SCHEME’. 19000/- rupees was collected for WE CARE programme with the cooperation of everyone from college and participatory village.
