The Department of English, Al-Ameen College, Edathala has conducted the inauguration of certificate course titled “A Basic Direction towards Journalism” from 10 A M at the Seminar hall. The course was inaugurated by the young poet Sobin Mazhaveedu, winner of Kumaranasan Kavyapuraskaram 2014.Bisha E Y, the Head of English Department has delivered the presidential address. After that our chief guest Sobin Mazhaveedu formally inaugurated  the programme. Later, Ms Seethal George, the lecturer in-charge has given an introductory session as a basic awareness. The session was concluded with a Vote of Thanks.
