100-odd students from the NSS unit of Al-Ameen College, Edathala, took to the ErnakulamRailway Station on 08.10.2018 to take part in the ongoing Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. The students planted flowering saplings along the tracks for about half a kilometre after cleaning up the premises. Dr JunaidRahman, manager of the college, inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling. The Ernakulam South railway manager thanked the students and promised to look after the plants. Shafeeq, office-bearer of Al-Ameen Educational Trust and NSS program officers Abdul Salam and Shahanoor Beegum participated.
