State Bamboo Cooperation will market the bamboo products made by the students of Al-Ameen College. Primary talks in this regard was completed successfully and the Cooperation has agreed to train students in producing bamboo goods on a business scale.

Al-Ameen College has already banned plastic products in the campus. Students started to make bamboo products as an alternative to plastic and has successfully marketed pens, flower vases, waste bins, curtains and Christmas stars made of bamboo inside the district. Tribal craftsmen of Kuttampuzha trained students to make bamboo stars. Once this venture succeeded, the College decided to make other products also. All classrooms in the College now have bamboo pen holders. Bamboo waste bins and furniture adorn the verandas of the College. The activities are spearheaded by the Community Extension Club of the College.
