The Department of Biotechnology, in collaboration with Agappe Diagnostics, organized a career counseling sessions for final-year BSc Biotechnology students.
The session aimed to familiarize students with the diagnostics industry, particularly focusing on opportunities available in clinical diagnostics. Representatives from Agappe Diagnostics provided insights into the diagnostics industry, including the role of biotechnology in diagnostic technologies, emerging trends, job roles in diagnostic laboratories, and career progression paths. The session included real-world examples, success stories, and practical tips for students interested in pursuing careers in clinical diagnostics.
Both sessions witnessed active participation from the BSc Biotechnology students. Students showed keen interest in exploring diverse career options within the biotechnology sector and actively interacted with the guest speakers to gain deeper insights into the presented topics.
