Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre at Al Ameen was established with an aim to bring budding entrepreneurs to light. The official functioning of the cell started in December 2021.The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDC) are platforms set up in Engineering, Management, Arts & Science Colleges and Polytechnics with an aim to provide students an opportunity to experiment and innovate. IEDCs works as the first launch pad for a student’s entrepreneurial journey and provide them with access to cutting edge technology, world class infrastructure, high quality mentorship, early risk capital and global exposure.
The IEDC Cell exerts activities under the Institution’s Incubation Centre “Al Ameenian Innovation and Business Incubation Centre (AIBIC). The IEDC cell aligns its activities in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) in order to create a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus. The cell conduct variety of entrepreneurship and research-related activities to ignite the entrepreneurial mindset among the vibrant student community. The cell is very active on the campus and it is very exciting to reveal that three teams are working on their business ideas under the guidance of our internal and external experts.
