The Legal Literacy Cell of Al-Ameen College, Edathala conducted a webinar on  “Civil Rights in Indian Republic” on 26th January 2021 at 11.00 AM. The programme was presided by Dr. Cini Kurian, Principal, Al-Ameen College.

The resource person for the session was Adv. George Pachayil, Kerala High Court. The main objective of the seminar was to make the students aware of the Fundamental Rights of Indian citizens. The webinar also tried to give them an understanding of the various rights that they are entitled of and they were given an idea of how to stand up for oneself if their rights got curtailed. The resource person enlightened the students regarding the various legal procedures that one should take if they face any sort of injustice. The Under Graduate students of various departments attended the seminar and they found the class to be very informative. There was also an interactive session and Mr. Pachayil clarified the doubts of the students. The venture was much appreciated by the students.
