We gathered in our campus around 9 am on 04/02/2019.Started from the college around 9.30 am to Chunangamveli retreat home to take old aged people to Njarakkal Aqua farm. We reached Njarakkal at 11.15 am. About Mtsyafeed Aqua Eco-Tourism Park  Narakkal Farm is located in the heart of Vypin Island and located at Arattuvazhi beach adjacent to KrishiVigyan Kendra of Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute .The place is so beautiful surrounded by greenery and water. This brackish water fish farm is famous for culture of grey mullets (Mugilcephalus). Farm has 44 acres of water body with 3 blocks of fish culture ponds. Pearl spots (Karimeen) are common in this farm which is declared as the State Fish of Kerala. Tourists are allowed to catch pearl spots by angling. Hooks and line with bait are provided to tourists for angling.
The persons of aqua farm arranged welcome drinks and some funny activity to entertain the old aged people by engaging in fishing, bird watching and light walking etc. We 3 teachers took 38 Old aged people with 2 sisters and 25 students to the above said destination. We had our lunch around 1.30 and returned from there by 2.30.At first we dropped old aged people to the retreat home and came to college.
