On this 73rd Independence day, Department of English conducted an inter-collegiate Elocution competition and an inter-departmental Quiz competition titled “Inter-Dependence” on 15th August 2020. The online quiz competition was conducted through Google meet platform. The live quiz was managed by Prof. Meenu Thankachan of English Department. Fathima Beevi, student of II Bsc Phyisics, Al Ameen College Edathala won the first prize for the online quiz competition. She was awarded with cash prize of rupees 500/- and a certificate. The inter- collegiate elocution competition had twelve participants. Esny Elias, student of III BA English, U C College won first prize for the elocution competition. She was awarded with prize of rupees 1001/- and a certificate.
