The Inauguration of Mathematics Association and an orientation program for M.Sc. Mathematics students was organized on 26th July, 2019 in the college seminar hall. The program commenced with the prayer at 2 pm.

Athulya Sukumaran, II M.Sc. Student formally welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais, teachers, and students. The Mathematics Association was inaugurated by Dr.Vijaya Kumar,  Professor CUSAT , then was followed by his talk on the Topic ”GRAPH THEORY FROM BRIDGES AND CHESS BOARDS TO W.W.W. AND BEYOND”. In which he discussed about the recent trends in the graph theory and its applications. The talk ended by 4 pm with an interactive session, where students could ask and clarify their doubts and he mentioned some project topics which could be undertaken during M.Sc.

In the end, Gauri G.R. of II M.Sc. delivered the vote of thanks to all including Dr. Vijaya Kumar, Professor, CUSAT. She thanked all the guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence. She also thanked the college for providing all kinds of facilities to conduct such an event.
