Legal Literacy club of Al-Ameen College organized a talk on “Public and Police in a Democratic Society “On  24th July 2018 Tuesday in the College Seminar Hall . The Programme started with prayer song followed by welcome address by college principal, Prof.M.B. Sasidharan. Programme was inaugurated by Justice B.Kemal Pasha, Honourable Retired Justice of Kerala High Court. His speech was effective and motivating as well. He explained how to live in a society with the maintenance of law and order, investigation including traffic, importance of safety, judiciary duties and police and their responsibilities. In his message he strictly pointed out unnecessary politics in college campuses and that it has to be banned for the wellbeing of the students.

The students from Bharath Matha College, Choondy, MES College Marampally, St. Xavier’s College, Aluva also participated in the event. The Keynote address was presented by Shri .T.M. Somarajan IPS, Retired Superintendent of Police. He shared words of encouragement and the speech was interesting and useful as well. Felicitation was done by Adv. T.P.M. Ibrahim Khan, Senior Special Counsel, Kerala High Court and Adv. Aneesh Fahid ,Alumini Secretary Al-Ameen College. Distribution of mementos was by Dr.JunaidRahman, Manager, Al-Ameen College Education Trust. After the delegates talk, there was an interactive session for the audience. Many invitees and students participated in the discussion and it turned out to be very interesting.
